"We've been in our home for a little over a year now, and overall the house has been alright. Make no mistake though, this is a budget home-building company. You're going to get the cheapest of everything, and you're going to find lots of little things that they missed that even a DIYer would know to get right on the first try. Bottom line, they don't have to live in the home, and they definitely seem to build with that in mind. The biggest issue that we had was leaking on the foundation wall under the front door. Thankfully this was in an unfinished closet under the stairs so we caught it quickly. I called the agent (our only point of contact) since it was within the 1 year warranty, and I was given a promising "You'll be getting a call right away! We'll get you taken care of!" However, no call ever came. Celestial was nowhere to be found. I ended up fixing the issue myself at my own expense. Probably better in the end as I know that I did it right, whereas I'm not very trusting of Celestial based on the initial overall quality of the house. The moral of the story is that they seem to have a "fly by night" style of business. Once the building is done, you'll never find them. So be ready to fix any issues yourself, and in fact, if the cost is not extravagant, you might prefer to do it yourself anyway to be sure it's done right. Only 1 year has passed, so we'll see what the next several years reveal to us."

"We had our house built in 2018. Since then we have had nothing but trouble. Floors not properly laid, windows that fall out if not locked, cracked interior doors, storm water routing through our yard from two streets because the ground work was not done properly or with expansion in mind, and now water coming through the walls in our basement. I don't know how many messages have been left to the now disconnected phone number or how many emails sent only to be placated for a moment but with the only repair made to the flooring. (We are not going to mention the cracks in the drywall that were never fixed after the first year as stated in our contract. Well guess I just did!) Plumbers and HVAC contractors have told us that the equipment installed was the bare minimum required to run our house and although they knew we were going to finish the basement ALL the HVAC would have to be replaced because, and I quote "the builders did you no favors in their installation"! This review is solely based on the ongoing issues with the house and not the lack of integrity from Greg at Celestial Homes or the fact that he tried to "mansplain" how water runs downhill to me one day on the phone."
