Welcome to Monroe Library Community Center

Located at 6 East Avenue, Monroe, Ohio 45050, the Monroe Library Community Center serves as a vibrant hub for local gatherings, civic engagement, and community enrichment. As a cornerstone for the Monroe area, our facility provides versatile spaces for a variety of events, meetings, and activities.

Facility Features:

- Monroe Community Room: With a maximum capacity of 150 guests, this spacious area is perfect for larger gatherings and events.

- Small Conference Room: Accommodating up to 20 people, this intimate setting is ideal for meetings and small group activities.

- Available Equipment: We offer five round (60-inch) tables and eight rectangle (72 x 30) tables for your convenience. Please note that tables and chairs must remain inside the building.

Reservation Information:

- Reservation Fee: A nonrefundable fee of $100.00 is required per reservation. However, service, civic, and non-profit organizations serving the Monroe area are exempt from this fee.

- Reservation Process: Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to organizations that meet regularly. Reservations must be made in person at the City building, and all fees must be paid before confirmation.

- Operating Hours: Events can be scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily. Please ensure your event concludes within these hours.

Rules and Regulations:

- The use of the rooms is subject to approval by the City Manager or designee.

- Please respect the space by cleaning up after use, including disposing of trash in designated containers and maintaining cleanliness.

- Alcohol, smoking, firearms, gambling, and open flames are strictly prohibited.

- Structural alterations and disruptive activities are not allowed.

- Parking is available in designated areas only.

Additional Information:

- Applications for room use must be completed on a designated form and approved by the City Manager.

- The City reserves the right to inspect the facility post-event and charge for any damage or excessive cleaning required.
