Then, they began charging $15 monthly for “insurance.” This pattern seems predatory, as once you go through the hassle of moving your property in, they methodically increase the rent, hoping that you do not want the headache of finding a new unit."

"A VERY DISAPPOTING EXPERIENCE AT GOSTORE IT CINCINNATI: I feel compelled to share my unfortunate experience with Gostoreit in Cincinnati, especially after being a tenant at the facility for over 6 years, even before Gostoreit took over. Unfortunately, my experience took a drastic downturn when a severe rodent infestation occurred in multiple units, including mine. This situation not only posed health concerns but also led to immense stress and frustration as I attempted to salvage my valuable belongings. Despite the efforts of Brad and the local team to assist, it became clear that there were major management issues that needed to be addressed. Upon delving deeper into the issue, it was disheartening to uncover that the rodent infestation had transpired due to a lapse in pestcontrol measures. Even more concerning was the fact that the management acknowledged this lapse in pestcontrol. It's deeply disappointing that a situation of this magnitude, affecting multiple tenants, was treated with a lack of concern and responsibility from the management. As a result of the dire circumstances, I made the difficult decision to leave the majority of my belongings in the unit and terminate my lease. While Brad's assistance was appreciated, it was evident that the response from higher management was inadequate. The issue was not given the gravity it deserved, and the proposed minor rent adjustment hardly addressed the significant losses I incurred. This experience has left me profoundly dissatisfied with Gostoreit's handling of the situation. The lack of accountability, coupled with the management's apparent detachment from the real concerns of their tenants, is disheartening. As a long-time tenant who had initially chosen the facility due to its convenience and reputation, I am deeply saddened by the decline in service quality and accountability. It's unfortunate that what should have been a reliable storage solution has transformed into a situation that requires legal intervention to seek fair compensation. I urge potential tenants to exercise caution when considering Gostoreit Cincinnati, especially in light of the management's approach to addressing major issues that directly impact their customers' well-being."
