"Ahoy, book-loving buccaneers! Me recent visit to the Mentor Public Library was like finding a treasure trove of knowledge and tales! The shelves were stocked with tomes and scrolls as varied as the stars in the night sky, each book a gateway to new adventures and mysteries. The librarians, wise as ancient sea sages, guided us through the labyrinth of shelves with ease, helping find the precious stories and information we sought. The atmosphere was as quiet and respectful as a ship gliding through calm waters, perfect for losing oneself in a good book. The patrons, immersed in their reading, were as content as sailors with a map to buried treasure. For its wealth of wisdom and tranquil environment, Mentor Public Library earns a hearty five parrots out of five from this literary pirate!"

"My previous passport was “lost”in the mail (after arriving in early January with all the documents and conveniently the tiny check was still found and cashed immediately.) I got a letter in the mail today stating they were missing the previous passport and I was FREAKING OUT because we plan to travel soon. In comes my superhero Kelsey at the Mentor library. I called her and she made room in her schedule to see me today within an hour of me calling. She checked with her manager Grace on multiple items on all of the forms and ensured we had everything we needed to restart this process asap. She even pointed out the letter said I was missing a passport card, when I’ve only ever had a passport book. She documented another letter stating I had a passport book and signed it as well as me signing it to ensure our bases were covered. Kelsey was positive, apologetic for these circumstances, and remained patient and calm throughout the process. If librarians accepted tips, I was ready to hand her $20 because her service was that good. I would highly recommend Kelsey for your passport needs and kudos to Mentor library for offering these services!"

"I'm a PhD student in engineering that likes to study at libraries when I have free time. The problem with this library is the lack of outlets at tables. There are individual stations with outlets, but their typically occupied. This place is somewhat busy on the weekends, so private space can be difficult to find, there are no study rooms. Just like most libraries, the staff are the loudest, funny how that is... Bathrooms are clean, but could use work, library itself is clean, but needs a revamp in modernization. There are three library's in Mentor and I've been told this is the largest... Also, the recycling goes into the same garbage as the normal trash, so the recycling is BS."
