Welcome to Lewisburg Haunted Cave: A Thrilling Underground Adventure!

Located at 4392 Swishers Mill Road in Lewisburg, Ohio, the Lewisburg Haunted Cave is not just a tourist attraction; it's an unforgettable subterranean experience that you won't want to miss. Dive into the depths of a real limestone cave situated eighty feet below ground, home to the World’s Longest Haunt, as recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2010. With over 30,000 live bats, this haunted spectacle offers spine-chilling thrills and remarkable sights that have earned it the title of the Best Haunted Attraction in the U.S. by USA Today and 10Best Readers in 2018.

Our haunted cave attraction is renowned for its immersive scares and award-winning performances, having won numerous accolades including the Best of Dayton, Consecutive Haunt of the Year Award, and the “HOTTEST HAUNT GOING” by HOD reviewers. It's no wonder visitors from all over, like Julie from Marion and Jennifer from Northville, Michigan, rave about their unforgettable experiences.

For those interested in the history and natural beauty of our location, we offer a historic tour of the Lewisburg Limestone Mine. This non-scary tour takes you to a different part of the cave, exploring the rich history of the mining operation and Ohio’s largest brown bat habitat. Lasting about 40 minutes, this tour is perfect for families and those curious about the cave's origins.

Additionally, we offer a unique walkthrough of the Haunted Cave without actors for those who prefer a less frightful experience. Bring your own flashlight and explore the detailed scenery and intricate sets with props, lights, and sounds activated. This family-friendly option is ideal for children and anyone who might be too afraid to experience the full haunted show.

Whether you're a thrill-seeker or a history buff, the Lewisburg Haunted Cave offers something for everyone. Join us for a hauntingly good time and discover why so many visitors, like Rob Williams from Fairfield and Stephanie from Hamilton, consider it a must-visit destination. "Enjoyed it. A little pricey for what it is, but nothing to complain about as went EARLY when it opened on a Sunday. Line took about 30 minutes. Coming out, the line was absolutely insane!!!! Which I'm sure I got lucky with timing and day."

"We loved the tractor ride in the dark, going into the cave, and the cave. The haunted cave was amazing! I haven’t seen a haunted house like this before! It’s also long. A must see."

"This is one of the most unique haunted attractions I've ever been to! It is not only worth traveling to visit, but I'm doing this next year as well! The attraction is simply top notch! The sets are amazing, the actors are talented (and really get into character), and the mine (it's a decommissioned mine, not a true cave) really sets the tone! This is soo worth the money, as the haunt itself is about a mile long. It took us a while to get through the whole thing. But be warned! This is NOT for the faint of heart! Not only is this 80 feet below ground, you have to approach at a slope, which isn't too bad as you'll waiting in line. However, the mine floors are generally even but not always, so you have to watch your step. Also, when you exit the mine, you're walking up 80 feet at an angle with no obstructions. Thankfully there is a resting bench at the top! Just make sure you get there early! The line fills up quickly and when we left, there were people all over the place waiting (they have this well-divided). If you do get a fast pass, it only takes you to the mouth of the cave. Past that point you're waiting with everyone else. Another point is this place only takes cash! They do have ATM, but it's to be noted. We bought tickets online (their first year). As such, you have to buy both the attraction and the mine tour tickets (but if you purchase on site with cash, you can only buy what you want). If it's your first time going, TAKE THE TOUR! It's similar to a hayride. They take you into the mine proper and give a nice history, complete with a mini tour. I can't stress enough how much of an experience this is! I drove 3.5 hours to visit the cave (spent the night in Dayton) and I will do it again! There is just nothing quite like this... anywhere that I'm aware of. Oh, and when you're in the haunt and wonder "how the heck did they get a truck and several cars down here?" - don't worry, the tour will shed some light on it!"

"I always try to go at least once during spooky season. Super fun place but might not be for someone who gets scared easily. But there is a hay wagon for those people. Do expect a long line but that is normal. Just be prepared and btw they do sell hot chocolate. One place I always recommend to people during the month of October."

"Really enjoyed it!! Loved the costumes and the actors were very enthusiastic. Please note that it gets muddy and quite slippery, make sure your shoes are in good condition."
