Welcome to the Mercer Common Pleas Court, located at 101 North Main Street, Celina, Ohio 45822. As a pivotal courthouse in Mercer County, our mission is to uphold justice and provide fair and efficient resolution of legal matters. Under the leadership of Richard M. Delzeith, Magistrate for Mercer County Common Pleas Court, we specialize in handling a variety of significant cases.
Our court is responsible for hearing civil cases involving monetary damages exceeding $15,000, as well as all felony criminal cases. We also have a dedicated magistrate to oversee all matters related to divorces, dissolutions, and domestic violence and stalking orders.
Default judgment hearings, final confirmation of sale hearings, and summary judgment hearings are conducted on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m., unless otherwise scheduled with the court's approval. All divorce and dissolution proceedings are likewise scheduled for Mondays and Tuesdays, subject to change with court permission.
Our operating hours are as follows:
- Monday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
