About the Business

LeRoy Township Town Hall

Welcome to LeRoy Township Town Hall, your local government office dedicated to serving the residents of LeRoy Township and surrounding communities. Conveniently located at 6684 Paine Road, Painesville, Ohio 44077, our town hall is a hub for community information and local governance.

Current Projects and Opportunities:

We are currently inviting bids for our town hall ramp project, with specifications available upon request. Please note that this project does not utilize grant money, allowing us greater flexibility with wage requirements. Bids are due by October 4, 2024.

Community Preparedness:

In collaboration with the Lake County Emergency Management Agency and the Local Emergency Planning Committee, we encourage all residents to be prepared for emergencies. Visit ReadyLakeCounty.com for essential resources and guidance on creating a disaster kit to ensure your family's safety.

Recycling and Sustainability:

The Lake County Department of Utilities, alongside its Solid Waste District, provides single-stream recycling containers for residents. These bins, located at the Lake County Landfill, are accessible year-round, Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. Help reduce waste by recycling your items free of charge.

Clothing Donations:

Consider donating your gently used clothing and household textiles to benefit the LeRoy Township Recreation Board. Accepted items include clothing, shoes, belts, purses, and more. Donations are tax-deductible and contribute to reducing landfill waste.

Septic System Assistance:

The Ohio EPA, through the Lake County Health District, provides financial assistance for failing septic systems. Visit our website for more details on how to apply for these funds.

REAL ID Compliance:

Stay informed about the REAL ID Act requirements, with the deadline for compliance extended to May 7, 2025. Ensure your state-issued driver's license or identification card meets the necessary security standards for federal purposes.

For more information on any of these initiatives or to get involved, please contact us or visit our office. We are committed to supporting our community and enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
