"Would give it no stars if i could. This is the first time I’ve ever left a review on any place because I hate to be THAT person. But every time I’ve went in or spoken to one of the ladies up front I’ve been spoke to like an absolute idiot. I always have nothing but trouble there, nothing ever gets resolved. Never going back there."

"The ladies working here were very helpful and kind. It's a small office, but there are plenty of magazines to pass the time, and an auto inspection shop next door if you need it. I didn't have to wait too long to be helped."

"Refused to do a simple tag switch from one vehicle to another! Had insurance upon the vehicle and it inspected and the registration card for the vehicle but they ran behind anything and every excuse to not switch the tag. Made 5 trips and refused 5 different times. Now in court the 21st of July over the matter!!! Just a simple matter and turned away 5 times!!!"

"As several other reviews I've read have stated I would give 0 stars if I could. The 2 ladies running this tag office are horrible, I walk in and nobody greets me, I ask the 1st lady "hello mam I just need to get my truck registered" she says very rudly well do you have title, insurance and license, I said yes mam and she just pointed to the other lady and said you need to go to her. I did and she took 1 look at the title and smacked her lips and said nope you filled it out wrong so the seller needs to apply for another title and fill it out correctly. I left, returned 20 min later and kindly asked if I could apply for a temporary tag in the mean time and she flat out refused very rude yet again and just flat out refused to even try to help in any way shape or form and was extremely rude. This place is a disgusting place of business for nc residents needing service. DO NOT EVER GO HERE just go to Murphy tag office."

"Easily the best DMV I’ve ever been to! I’ve lived in other states and had horrible DMV experiences. The ladies at the Hayesville office are super friendly and incredibly helpful. They make you feel like a person and not a number. And they’ve taken the time to talk me through paperwork that was really difficult to figure out online. Thank you guys!"
