"Long-time ATFCU member, current year we are having financial issues due to my wife's MS diagnosis (5/22) and her being unable to work after 42 years. We honestly thought SSDI (applied for 10/22) would have come through by now, another disappointment. Applied for a loan on a car we own, money needed to bring our mortgage current. Our household was set up for two incomes, and after spending everything we had, and charging up our credit cards again. I let the mortgage go to keep everything else afloat. It was a bad decision on my part, I know, but choices had to be made for meds, doctor bills, food, gas, insurances and taxes. I always was a credit union member because they were small town banking, being there for you in bad times, not just good times. Disappointed member..."

"The people here, so kind. The convenience of this atm … that is completely another story. It never works, there’s always an issue. I can’t make my deposits here 9/10 times. I’m honestly so sick of it , that I’m not coming back to this specific bank until they have a new atm. This is ridiculous."

"Alcoa Tenn has been a great place for me to finance my last four cars. They have great rates and excellent customer service. They are very easy to work with as well. They may not have the most flexible hours or the most up to date ATM’s but for straight forward banking and easy credit approval, they can’t be beat. They well approve almost anyone with a new account. This location is one of my favorites as well since it’s close to my house and the crew is so knowledgeable."

"I refinanced my auto loan and the process was easy-as-pie. I worked with both Nancy and Lisa and they were tremendously helpful. I got a better interest rate and great customer service. Highly recommend Alcoa TN FCU."

"Been banking there for 11 years I recently got married and was in process of switching things over to another account during this time I had setup for my bills to be paid out of the other accounts but wasn't aware that it was going to take another billing cycle to complete. Though I had an overdraft protection the back still charged me $32 per transaction to go through. I have never over drafted before so I was shocked that the back even paid the bill because I was explained if I had that then they would decline it. Which I then could argue that the bank should have drafted the other account not this one. So When i called the bank to explain the situation she explains to me that's just how it is and though I have overdraft protection I also have a privilege pay that I was not aware of. That will go ahead and pay the bill but also charges $32 per transaction. They were not understanding with this situation and even though this had never happened they refused to waive the fee for customer courtesy. Needless to say I've delt with many changes with this bank over the past 10 years including their horrible website I've remained loyal but this was the last straw for me. I recommend checking out Capital One360 they will pay a higher APR and they are focused on providing excellent customer service."
