The journey of Goodness To Go began in 2011 when founders Renee and Lisa met while working in a school cafeteria. Their passion for creating from-scratch meals quickly gained popularity among students and parents alike. What started as a beloved school meal program soon evolved into a thriving business when they decided to serve the wider Knoxville community in 2014.
Today, Goodness To Go proudly operates two locations in Rocky Hill and Farragut, continuing to deliver on its promise of quality and taste. "Y'all! I was out this way showing a house and stumbled upon Goodness to Go. I knew they had one in Rocky Hill. But, I didn't know Choto had one. OH MY GOODNESS! Both my client and myself stopped in after seeing the house. She snagged some orzo salad and I snagged so many desserts:) All very yummy! Chess cake/chess bars are my all time favorite dessert. They have chess bars and you can also buy chess bar edges. SO GOOD! I snacked on the chess bar edges as soon as I got back in my car. This is a great location for a place like this! For me, I use (the original) Goodness to Go for marketing/catering. But, this one in the Choto area is such a good little sweet treat stop for all who live / work out this way. There are more things I want to try for sure. But, I had to pace myself. If you're a sweets lover- this is for you!"
"I usually stop by either other location anytime I am nearby. I love their Rosemary cashews, the sweet and spicy popcorn, and salted caramel cookies are amazing. And I usually pick up something for lunch or dinner as well. Staff is great and the food is always amazing"
"The staff is nice and the tomato pie is delicious. The Buckeye dark chocolate peanut butter brownies are good too. And the Choto neighborhood shop is a pretty drive along Lakeshore."
"Goodness to Go recently catered a Summer Picnic Birthday Lunch for me. It was awesome! The variety and range of selections satisfied my most finicky guests. Thank you Katelyn for your patience and help in making selections to ensure all guests had something yummy to eat. Many thanks to the food preparation crew as well as the delivery driver. Everything arrived on time, was fresh and sooo good! I’m now a huge fan of the Crack Dip, Pretzel Bites, the assorted sandwiches, and the Hummingbird Cake! Delicious! Chuckle, who am I kidding, I’m a Goodness to Go lover of long standing! Good food with Good friends! Appreciate It!"
