"Perfect Place to Rent a Pontoon Boat! This place is the real deal, an old school Marina on Lake Hiwassee near Murphy, North Carolina. The atmosphere is relaxed and the owners (Steve & Gretel) are the most welcoming nice people, with lots of information about the lake, where to go and what to do. The pontoon boat was comfortable, well maintained and rental was reasonably priced. The rental process was straightforward and easy. It was a great experience from start to finish to finish! We will definitely rent a pontoon from Shooks Marina in the future. Highly Recommended!"

"Came out here from the west coast for vacation and loved it, owners are very friendly and plenty of boats to go on. They made sure all the kids were good to go, explained how to operate the boat and showed us where to go. I didn't realize the lake was so big. Very friendly, budget friendly and its owned and operated by a mom and pop shop kinda style. Coming back soon to visit. :)"
