"I’m glad we have a Food City in Hardin Valley. The people here care and do their best, especially in the deli and flower departments. I don’t do the shopping in the family but my wife says she likes it better than Kroger FWIW."

"I'm giving the Food City Gas 'N Go a 5-star rating because they do exactly what one would expect them to do, provide gas at a competitive price. Aside from that, they are the last gas station available if you are heading west down Hardin Valley Road and left onto Hickory Creek until you reach Watt Road exit off of Interstate 40 AND the only gas station within approximately 3 miles (8-10 minutes) if you're heading east towards Pellissippi Parkway. I have lived in the area for approximately 17 years and even though Food City has not been in existence for that long, I have used their services since the store opened. During that time, I have yet to experience any issues whatsoever with the clerk of duty or with the fuel received. Another added bonus, for me, has been the fact that they sell bags of ice separately from the main Food City store. This has proven to be convenient on a number of occasions, generally during the summer months, as I'm heading to a weekend party or get together saving a 20+ minute roundtrip to a gas station at Pellissippi Pkwy or a an unschedule dip into the main Food City store to attempt to quickly grab a few bags of ice through the self-checkout which always proves an impossible feat. All-in-all it's a great location for what it offers and it's reliable."

"I was only able to pay with cash for my gas, and the lady told me I couldn’t pump unless I paid with a card because she was in the middle of counting her drawer 10 minutes before they closed. Very disappointed in their customer service."
