Nestled in the historic Lake Michigan Beach House, Dune Grass Concessions provides a delightful array of tasty treats including pizza, hamburgers, chicken strips, hot dogs, subs, snacks, and beverages. Don’t miss out on our hand-dipped Country Dairy Ice Cream, perfect for enjoying while witnessing the breathtaking sunsets over Lake Michigan. We also offer a selection of convenience items such as beach toys, sunblock, clothing, and unique souvenirs to remember your visit by.

For those starting their adventure at the Cedar Campground Loop, the Cedar Camp Store is your one-stop shop for camping provisions. Stock up on wood, ice, groceries, toys, apparel, and a variety of essential items like bait, bug spray, and sunscreen. Additionally, we offer bike rentals by the hour or day, and watercraft rentals are available when the Hamlin Lake Concession is closed.

Speaking of Hamlin Lake, our Hamlin Lake Beach Concession offers a serene alternative to the Lake Michigan beach, with warmer waters and protection from the west winds. Here, you can enjoy similar food and beverage options to those at the Lake Michigan Beach House, along with an extensive selection of watercraft rentals. Explore the scenic beauty of the state park with solo and tandem kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, pedal boats, and rowboats, all available with paddles and personal flotation devices.

Our rental hours are from 10am to 7pm daily, weather permitting, with earlier rentals available at the Cedar Camp Store. Please remember to return all equipment one hour before dusk. For your convenience, we accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and cash, though checks are not accepted.

Run by Jeff and Patty Beilfuss, who bring over 35 years of experience from their previous family business, Baldwin Canoe Rental, Dune Grass Concessions is committed to providing a memorable and enjoyable experience for all visitors. Since taking on this venture in 2013, Jeff and Patty have made numerous improvements, including expanding our rental options and refreshing the Cedar Camp Store with new merchandise.

While the Ludington State Park is undergoing renovations and is slated to reopen on July 1st, 2025, parts of the park remain accessible. We look forward to welcoming you and helping you make lasting memories in this beautiful natural setting.
