"Short trail, poorly marked, ends abruptly in the bog/marsh. Some beautiful ferns, skunk cabbage, wild flowers. Board walks and handrails need maintenance. Be prepared for mud. Length less than half a mile."

"This is a wonderful site, quite beautiful, but perhaps better left to botanists. The trail is in fair condition, but it's short and ends abruptly, basically dumping you into the fen itself. We were expecting the path to conclude more formally, perhaps with a lookout of some sort. From that point, without a marked trail, it seems too easy to cause harm to the unusual native plants that grow here. It's also quite soggy most of the time. From the slope and edge of the fen, we did observe some rare and interesting species, which was a thrill. Beware there is also plenty of Poison Sumac growing, along with the more common troublemakers. Please don't go trampling though the rare landscape carelessly. Definitely not a place for picnics, young children, dogs, etc."

"Trail starts up by 20. Park in the area next to the cemetery. Good trail nice big area. Didn’t go too far the grass was a bit high and the ticks were thick."
