"Visited Lakefest this year and what an enjoyable location. The acoustics are awesome!"
"I love this park. The only thing I don't like about the new construction is there used to be 2 playgrounds. One was close to the amphitheater (still there) and one was near baseball fields. The one they took out was useful for families near the baseball field and gave extra playground when the other was full. They put in lots of parking, but lost a playground."
"This is our second year to attend the Blues Fest at the Smith Amphitheater. You can't beat the venue which overlooks Laporte and Clear lake. There are benches, but to be comfortable, bring your own chair. Beer is available, but the food vendors vary each year. If you enjoy live blues music, this is the event for you. It's the second Saturday in August."
"This has been updated since I went there as a kid in the 80's. The parking situation isn't the greatest, but they have even installed restrooms which were clean and functional. It's really a nice place to see a show. The lake and courthouse for a backdrop are beautiful."
