"When I visited on 6/9, I was incredibly taken back by the service we were given. A large group of us came into the bar around 12:30, we were having an amazing time, all listening to music and chatting. At about 1:15, the bartender Hannah, told us we all needed to leave because she was closing. At that time, there was FIFTEEN of us in the bar. All getting lots of drinks, tipping her, having a GREAT time. We truly didn’t think she was serious because it wasn’t even 1:30 yet and her bar was full. At 1:30, she began shutting lights off and telling everyone to get out. A friend of hers who was at the bar, began helping her close and belligerently yelling at all of us to get out, her friend said the bartender wanted to close so she could go out and have some drinks before the night was over. We were all very confused and quite irritated by the situation. Someone in the group had just put $15 into the Ami music machine on top of that and then we were also getting kicked out, literal robbery. To kick 15 people out of the bar you’re WORKING at, so you can go out and drink with friends is very confusing to me because you’re working?? I can understand 15 belligerent people who are being obnoxious and rowdy but that was not our group, in any way. Maybe that’s something that’s normal in Hurley but usually not other places. I never leave bad reviews but last night was incredibly odd to me and I felt like if this isn’t normally how you’d run your business, something needs to be changed. It was incredibly disappointing to our group."
