"We were on vacation in Medford with family and wanted to rent a canoe and stand up paddle board to enjoy time on the lake. Dan delivered them to us and provided us with exceptional care and service. One of the canoe passengers was our 93 year old grandmother and he set up a special cushioned seat for her to put in the canoe. We really appreciated all his knowledge and his friendly, helpful service. Would definitely recommend!"

"My wife and I knew we wanted a Wenonah Canoe, but we couldn't decide between 4 of the tandem models, so we went to The Silent Glide. Dan is so knowledgable about the equipment/sport. He knows those canoes inside and out and was able to give great detail about the different handling of each type of canoe. Everything is iced over right now, but as soon as the lake thaws, Dan is going to let us test the 4 canoes so that we get a feel for the right one. We can't hardly wait! He also has some high quality outdoor equipment in his shop (oars, lights, life vests, chairs, etc.) that I'm sure we will also be purchasing when we pick our canoe. If you live in central WI and are looking for a canoe or kayak, I highly recommend this place first. It seems rare these days to have a good experience dealing with stores, so we do a lot of shopping online. After looking at The Silent Glide website, we had a good feeling that this would be an experience where we could have our questions answered without being harassed. We were correct, AND he let us open stuff up and test all of his top of the line products like Helinox chairs! Can't wait to go back in a few months! Thanks Dan!"
