"Still in Parke County but outside Rockville, this is another Joseph A. Britton covered bridge that he completed in 1913. It is a single-span Burr Arch structure. This is originally the site of two other bridges that had been washed away before this one, the State Sanatorium Covered Bridge, was moved to here. It is open to traffic But I opted to take the bypass with the Sprinter van. The road to the east is hard packed dirt and not a great run. Total length of 170 feed with a clearance of 12.5 feet, it would have been fine for my heavy van but I thought, let's not today."

"Horrible experience. Waited and waited to get what I thought was going to be an extended night tour. What a joke. I ended walking 10&12 minutes back to my car at 8:30 pm in dark. Tour was supposed to start at 6:30. Got a whole 15 minutes of looking around. No wasn't afraid to walk the grounds at night. I got tired of waiting for guide to coax the spirits out with her gadgets. Would give a zero, won't let me"

"Beautiful bridge that's still in use. You may even see an Omish family in a horse and buggy. Many photo ops here, the creek is beautiful and lots of parking."
