"If I could give this place 0 stars I would do so in a heartbeat. I had a decent experience when I first visited the store in 2019 to get my bike but the one I left with wasn't what I really wanted. First mistake, sure, but the sales person INSISTED that was the bike I needed to get. I was wobbly riding it outside the store but she said I'd be okay once I got used to it. The problem was I never did. I went back in today to ask if they buy bikes back and the lady that was there working today was belligerent and rude and argued with me every step of the way. She's got zero business working the floor because her customer service and people skills need a crash course in how to be less snobby and more informative/friendly. I told her I was uncomfortable riding it because it's too tall for me and she immediately argued with me saying that it was a medium bike and it wasn't, then she very rudely asked if the seat was lowered. She essentially told me (in more or less words) that I was wrong and that all her sales are perfect and then proceeded to tell me that if I was afraid to ride my bike I'd be terrified to ride the other one I was interested in (an e-bike). The young blonde girl that was working there was a witness to all of this, I feel terrible for her having to work under someone like that. Good job for causing your store to lose a sale and future business, Karen! Hope like hell you're not the owner because I WILL be sharing this terrible experience I had with you on other social platforms so other brickies won't have to deal with your bad attitude!"
"Great bike shop and cafe right along the Duneland Prairie trail. Had a delicious peanut butter smoothie to recharge for the 10 miles back on the trail to Chesterton. Great selection bikes and accessories too."
