"I visited your beauty supply on April 16th, 2024, and I must express my extreme displeasure with the conduct of one of your staff members (maybe it’s you who is reading this). It was my first time at your establishment, and unfortunately, the experience was marked by the inappropriate behavior of the older gentleman at the counter who wore a black diamond lined wedding band (if you're reading this, please get yourself together). After initially assisting me in locating a much-needed item on the floor, this man proceeded to follow closely behind me as I walked towards the counter to make my purchase. To my shock and disgust, he then loudly exclaimed, "God Damn Girl," indicating his apparent approval of my backside. As the owner of a beauty supply store frequented by many women, such behavior is utterly repugnant, no woman should have to deal with that. I attempted to brush off the incident by saying that he would soon be off work, recalling his comment about getting off work at 7pm and enjoying the weather. However, my attempt did not work, as he continue smirking and suggesting that his comment was about something else entirely. Despite my discomfort, I completed my purchase in silence. However, I cannot overlook the unprofessional and wholly unacceptable conduct displayed by this man. Women visit your beauty supply store for products, not to be subjected to unwelcome advances. I implore you to exercise greater discretion and professionalism among yourself and your staff. Imagine if your daughter, wife, sister, mother, or any female relative were subjected to such behavior while simply trying to shop. It is imperative that you maintain a standard of professionalism that respects the dignity and comfort of all your customers.
