It's the place to catch the Greyhound bus which goes throughout the country. There's also a bus line that goes back and forth to the casino and hotels in Chicago"

"I called the Gary transit station today and asked for some information they told me I had the wrong department and hung up. I called back was your problem with the attitude they say no girl bye I’m 62."

"Think what u must of this but the male drivers are helpful and kind. The females as a whole are rude nasty and seem to enjoy causing any kind of harm to the public. The female driver in the mornings. For the L5 will see you notice you and under no circumstances stop for you. You can be at the bus stop but not on the very edge of the side wall and she will not stop no matter if u wave holler and chase the bus. As well the schedule and routes posted aren’t correct for some locations. About two weeks ago I was at a bus stop where it was scheduled for 5:45pm I got there early at 5:30pm I sat and I waited for hours until 7:50pm and the bus finally arrived to my stop. I found out once on the bus that the driver desided to stop and go grocery shopping in the middle of her route and bc of all of this I was stranded in the middle of Gary all night long bc the last bus to miller had already made its route. Only part of that horrid situation was I was leaving work, if I had been on the way to work I would have surely lost my job. Also it is posted on the website all busses equipped to transport your bike. This is a lie the entire operation seems to be run by evil spirited people who enjoy the knowledge of imposing chaos and turmoil in peoples lives I hope someone will try to reason with these drivers that have no kindness in them at all"

"Buses are filthy. I've seen fleas or some type of jumping bug (looks like fleas) jumping off the seats of these Gary city buses on three different occasions. Made me itch. Felt dirty and disgusting. Made sure I shook all my clothes down before i went into the house and got in the shower instantly. I hope none were attached my clothes or my jacket because these things can travel and the feed off the human body. So gross. These buses never get cleaned. They don't spray the seats down so if anyone has anything, you're more than likely to catch it. Please be careful."
