"I've had an account with ONB for a while, it's never been a great experience with this branch. I received a deposit from a claim insurance and tried to withdraw that money and was told they didn't have that amount on hand but could give me half in cash and the other with a cashiers check...ok, long story short...I was pulled into Michelle's office where they rudely told my husband to wait outside and closed the door. I was then asked if I really had an insurance claim for the amont I requested to withdraw. I was in a state of shock and didn't understand why I was being treated like a criminal without any explanation other than that wasn't the way claims are usually processed. She didn't believe me or something. So my husband immediately closed out his account and we went to another branch in Merrillville where we were treated with respect and that manager was very respectful of our needs. We ended up closing all our accounts thanks to the poor attitude towards customer service in St. John, making people feel like criminals for wanting there money and then separating my husband and I and trying to integrate me....yuck."
