"Our family has been dealing with Smits Funeral Home services through several generations and will continue to seek their experience and knowledge in the future. Having been to many funerals my appreciation starts when I walk in the door. The general open area, when you walk in, is bright but not overstated. It’s uplifting not dark and sad. The lounge area is large with plenty of seating and there is ample counter space to set out food and available refrigerator for our use. The restrooms are clean and well kept. While working with Tim to make our loved one’s arrangements, Tim has always been prepared, he is kind and professional. He makes helpful suggestions and is willing to work within financial restrictions and varying family requests. I know he can handle my questions with care and efficiency. It was a relief that they took care of scanning photos on our behalf and putting together a slideshow including digital pictures we sent to them. They set up the service just the way we asked and everything was ready when we arrived the morning of. Finally, all other staff we worked with were also kind, professional and helpful. Anytime we called with questions or had needs or questions during the services we were taken care of and quickly. Thank you Smit’s for supporting us during this difficult time."

"Worst experience ever went with Smith's Funeral home because my family had used them in the past and everything went great but this time I don't know what happened went there to have my father's services requested over 200 hundred cards and they only ordered $100 ordered a gold cross necklace that now we're finding out today never got ordered even though we requested it more than once to be ordered second time we requested that it was ordered was when I went and paid for my dad's services due to the Life insurance company cutting me a whole check instead of paying them then cutting me a check so it seemed like to me since the whole check went to me and I had to go out there when the check came in and pay them I started getting really poor service like I was an inconvenience to them that I didn't deserve a second of their time I would try to go in and tell them that I needed to speak to Tim every single time he was supposedly unavailable went in and paid after my dad's services when we got the life insurance money and at that time ask them when the cross necklace would come in and was told by two other employees that across necklace was never ordered so at that time I told both of them that I wanted the necklace ordered and was told by the employees that it's between 800 and $900 that I might want to just go online and look for something cheaper and even told them that I did not care how much it cost that I wanted in ordered get a phone call today that my dad's ashes were finally in go up there to pick them up come home realize that we still have not received any news on my sisters necklace so I give them a phone call to find out that a necklace was still not ordered so I will be now going somewhere else to get a necklace and definitely will not be going with Smith's Funeral home again because it's very clear that they don't actually listen to you they do what they want because not once when we came in and sat down and requested over 200 cards ordered a gold cross necklace and an urn that was white with a fire department logo on it and the only thing that was correct about the order was the urn"
