"Ever since this bank changed from First Midwest, it's become trash tier. If you're old and only ever deposit and withdraw cash, maybe it's alright, but if you plan on doing literally anything else, don't waste your time. They love to arbitrarily decide whether to lock down your cards or not. I've had my debit card locked down for small online purchases (less than 10 dollars) because I guess they might have thought it was fraud? With legitimate fraud, they send you texts, emails, etc, and warn you. If they THINK it's fraud, they'll at least let you confirm it isn't with an email. Or, they did? In any case, they don't now. Closing my account ASAP. If you're smart, you'll do the same, or avoid it to begin with."

"Continues to offer the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. The level of incompetence is laughable. Switching banks asap. I can’t believe I’ve stayed with ONB this long."

"I never leave reviews on Google, ever, but every single time I go into this bank, whether it’s go deposit a check or have any issues going on with my account I need addressed, the workers there always have a problem with doing what they’re paid to do. They negative attitudes and lack of professionalism, no matter which clerk I get and even when I came in to have a notary witness. The app sucks, the banking system sucks, and they’ve done a complete 180 from the service that I used to get when the bank was still First Midwest. If you’re looking into getting into this bank, keep searching because this bank is not the way to go."

"No hours after 5:00 - not a single day Terrible for the working people that can't get there before 5:00 Was used to being recognized by staff. It seems they got rid of all 1st Midwest employees when they bought. Miss the friendliness. Did not have trouble with the switch over. That went smoothly for me."

"I've been with this bank since 1991 (27 years) back when it was called Bank Calumet. I recently had an issue with service charges for my Diamond Checking/ Savings account. I went to the Dyer Branch to get the issue resolved. The cashiers were ok, one was helpful and the other cashier had an attitude. A Consumer Banking Representative eventually helped me with my issue but she also had an attitude. Make sure you check your bank statements because First Midwest Bank will empty your account by charging service fees before they send you a courtesy notice informing you that they are emptying your account. I will able to rebound from this incident but think about the elderly person that is on a fixed income and couldn't afford these charges. To me this is bad business not to send some type of notification to its customers informing them of service charges being applied to their account. Also if you deal with customer service over the phone make sure you do a follow up. I was told they would take care of the issue and they never did. I would not recommend this bank and I will not be doing business with this bank anymore"
