"True story - I just called and talked to their estimator who was possibly the most condescending person I have ever spoken with. He told me, "You don't call Thatcher unless you are someone like Tom Ricketts.. and we do such a good job that you have free season tickets for me afterwards." He also said several times that I "ought to find some Mexicans" to work on my retaining wall. I asked him why on their website it says that they work on jobs as low as $5,000. His reply was that they would "plant a tree for Apple for $20,000 in Chicago, and it would be a beautiful evergreen from Oregon, and it would die because someone would pour concrete on it. And they would hire us to do it again". So this one star review doesn't apply to Apple or Tom Ricketts who apparently love dealing with these people, but for literally anyone else that needs work done. I'll save you the trouble of calling them. You are not worthy."
