"I would do a zero star if I could! I had four very expensive curtain panels hemmed by this cleaners and when I received the curtains back all four were different lengths none of the length I had asked for and two of were crooked! I don’t know how hard it is to cut the fabric/hem the curtain per the request that is on the order sheet! I will not be returning. Stay away!"

"So, I've always known there was a reason why I would pass this particular cleaners up. My parents, being older, sometimes find it hard to change, but have become disgruntled with the outrageous prices of Lansing Cleaners. Nevertheless, they encouraged me to try Lansing Cleaners for a plain dress. No sequins, no beads, no embroidery. In fact, the material is made out of polyester. Literally. My request? Press it. The owner had the unmitigated audacity to let $175.00 come out of her mouth. Rest assured, while the dress is going to be used for a wedding, trust me, it is not a dress that requires a $175.00 pressing. I certainly won't pull the race card because there definitely wasn't egregious behavior displayed between either of us...but if you're a person of color, you can feel when "something isn't right." Again, nothing egregious took place. I must report the truth. However, this dry cleaners is certainly one that doesn't deserve a second chance; the owner's inability to effectively articulate the actual process that would warrant $175.00 pressing wasn't shocking. As a resident reporter, these types of business owners really need to be looked at from a different angle. It's certainly worth talking about."

"Stay away! I brought in four curtain panels to be hemmed. I got them back about a weak later and all four panels were different lengths AND each panel was crooked! I called and spoke to several staff members and finally got a manager on the phone. The manager agreed to do a redo and said the owner would personally oversee the project and ensure they were hemmed according to the original specifications. Ten days later I picked up the order and they look almost exactly the same as the last time! I called and asked to speak to the owner and was told she was not available, so I left a message stating I was very unhappy and for her to please call me the next day. Unsurprisingly the next day I did not get a call from her so I called them back in the mid-afternoon and was finally able to speak with her. When I complained to her that she had not called me back, she told me I had no right to make demands of her time. When I informed her as to the condition of the drapes, she lied and insisted that they were less than an inch off. This is completely untrue as you can see from the pictures. She went on to insist that curtains are always different lengths and that it was normal. She offered to refund HALF of the cost of the alteration. My curtains are ruined and unusable and she wants to reimburse HALF of the cost of alterations?! I did get heated with her and told her she had no integrity and her business practices are unethical. She just kept referring to the release that we signed and basically told me to put up my busted drapes and get over it. I am disgusted and truly hope this review helps other people avoid ruining their belonging by going to this business for service."

"My insurance company (AAA) made us use Lansing/FRSTeam to clean our clothes after a fire, and this company has caused us so much extra aggravation in an already upsetting time. To summarize, they took our belongings and several months later found out that they were unable to clean them (the few items they tried to clean in a first small batch came back shredded or otherwise ruined 2 months later). They ruined my suede dance shoes. We were waiting for them to return the rest of our items one morning and they never showed up. We had to call them to find out that they weren't coming and weren't even going to try to clean the rest of our clothes since whatever they were doing was ruining them. They said the fire damaged them too much, but I thought that was their specialty. They lost items that we specifically set aside and told them were extremely important to us, including religious items and irreplaceable items from my grandparents. When I told them these were never returned, they were defensive and uncaring. They are horrible at communicating, and were are extremely rude at almost every interaction I've had with them -- in particular Pat and the owner, Sandy. I feel taken advantage of at a time when I was the most vulnerable, having gone through a fire. I have never dealt with a more insensitive and incompetent group of people."
