"A dated park with very mature trees. Could use some updating, has plenty of seating for picnics and such. The playground is older but very usable. We didn’t go in to the dog park area but it looked more than sufficient for a dog to enjoy with obstacles for competition training."
"Hillcrest has always been my favorite park here. They tore the old hospital down and it kinda took away part of the park. There's a little area to walk your dog where the building was. I love the trails & the creek! Several years ago, I went out to walk the trails & they were covered in weeds, sticks, etc. It was so overgrown that I couldn't even find the trails. After they made the dog park, they also got all of the trails open again. It's not fancy with a lot of playground equipment or anything but it's nice & quiet."
