Welcome to the Third Baptist Church of Chicago, a vibrant place of worship located at 1551 West 95th Street, Chicago, Illinois. Here, we believe that "Jesus is HERE, and with ONE MIND, anything is possible!" Our doors are open to everyone, regardless of who you are, where you come from, or what you’ve been through. Led by Rev. Dr. T.D. Hughes, our church is a life-giving community where faith is stirred, assumptions are challenged, and fellowship builds you up. We are committed to helping each individual identify their God-given gifts and turn their strengths into meaningful action through our various ministries. Our leadership team, consisting of anointed ministers, directors, and strategic leaders, serves with love and kindness, guiding our congregation like a good shepherd.

"For some odd reason these church people had my truck towed out the parking lot. Me and my son have caught COVID due to me being a nurse and came in contact with a positive patient. We are quarantine for 14 days and I come outside to go get tested and notice my vehicle gone. I asked this man in this truck why would you tow my vehicle. The man so rude and nonchalant.You seen me and my child get out this car, u could have just asked us to move.The truck wasn’t blocking anybody car or anything. I literally stay right across the street. The church people sure find a way to take your money. If they not selling you dreams for hope they lying or taking from you. They definitely not here to help you. They are the worse."
"Frequent visitor and the ushers are very courteous. Seating sometimes tight but there's always room and the church is always welcoming. Young people and children becoming more present and the pastor is in excellent Homilist, and each of my visits have been scriptural learning experiences. Knowledgeable clergy and the congregation is warm and friendly and the choir is inspirational. I'm impressed with the community engagement orientation of the church and it can do nothing but improve the neighborhood. The youth choir is growing and very enthusiastic. I attend the 11am service after attending 8 a.m. mass at my church. A good dose of scripture, wouldn't you say?"
