Guzzo Stucco

"We moved into a new home and Guzzo was responsible for the stone and stucco on the house. Since then, they have had to come out a minimum of 8 times to replace stone that is falling off the house. I have contacted them about this on many occasions. They claim it is a manufacturer defect. Their solution has been to replace the stone that has fallen. This last time, they actually reapplied the broken stone. I find this unacceptable. I've called and emailed the owner directly, citing my concerns that not only is this unattractive, but is a danger to people and property. The owner has not replied and it continues to be an ongoing issue and matter of personal safety."

"Similar to another complaint that I see online, Guzzo performed stucco and window caulking around their stucco in December 2019 at my home and the caulking has completely failed around the windows. After trying since June to speak with Jerry Guzzo, owner, he asked for pictures (which I sent) and he has been non-responsive to my 15 calls over the past 4 months. He believes that window caulk is my responsibility and I generally agree but not after only 18 months after he did his work that we paid over $20,000 for. I have other windows that were caulked several years earlier by another company and those windows are fine. I would not recommend Guzzo to anyone as he unfortunately does not stand behind their workmanship, has been non-responsive and unprofessional."

"Just 8 years after I hired Guzzo Stucco to install new stucco on the rear exterior wall of my rowhouse, I experienced complete stucco failure. When making the owner, Jerry Guzzo, aware of the issue, he requested that I email him photos, which I did. I have not heard from him since, nor have I been able to get a hold of him. So much for integrity and accountability."

"Redoing the stucco on my house that we just bought was a daunting task. Overall we knew there were issues from the inspection, and we knew there was work to be done. The Stucco was installed in the correct manner, underlying issues were resolved, and root causes of the previous damage fixed. The team working on the house explained everything they ran in to and were very thorough with each step. I would recommend Guzzo to anyone trying to get Stucco work completed. I will not use anyone else on a go forward basis."
