"When there for a mammogram and the lady was very professional and for the first time I didn't feel any pain getting it done"
"Prefacing with GO SOMEWHERE ELSE Zero stars if I could. I guess one star is adequate since staff was nice. That's about all they had going for them. I came in for back pain that prevented me from even moving. I brought a virtual copy of my insurance card and they asked for an emailed copy of it. While the waiting room only had a couple people, I waited over an hour because it seems they had not received the email. So despite deciding to treat me while trying to sort that, I sat waiting for them. 20 minutes after re-sending they finally brought me back into a room. I waited at least another 30 minutes in there before being seen by a doctor. While waiting in the room to be seen, I noticed they were a little antiquated in their equipment. The nurse who saw me to take my vitals, wrote everything down on paper. It seemed there were no computers in the rooms. Their stethoscopes were a little primitive as well... The resident, palpitated my back and decide to send me for x-rays. As I walk over to get xrays, my referral says self-pay primary, insurance secondary. I'm sorry is it common practice to ignore insurance and decide to bill patients? X-rays were pretty quick and I was back over at the office waiting for the resident to come in. They clearly had no idea what was wrong with me since my x-rays did not show anything to have warranted my pain. The only explanation I was provided, "it's musculo-skeletal". Sure, pain would be from my muscles or bones. Thank you for that. I knew about as much going in as I did leaving. Solution was to give me muscle relaxers and steroids. Before going back into the room, I re-confirmed that I was not self-pay and my insurance should be billed. The women at the front desk "looked" and said of course, we see your insurance first! Clearly not since you had me listed as first on the paperwork... They did not even ask me for payment; since I did not want to deal with a billing department, I checked in about my copay. The woman had to manually enter my card information. It did not seem that they had a usable credit card machine. What sort of place doesn't have a credit card machine nowadays? I filled the Rx on my way home and began taking them. They helped bring me down to manageable pain for about 40 hours before they were no longer helping. Well, had he had taken the time to actually LOOK at my back, he would have noticed the bruising. And wouldn't have had me taking unnecessary steroids. A visit with my primary, got me NSAIDs instead which helped minimize my pain to a 0-1 for the week she prescribed and not I'm virtually pain free. Fast forward 2 weeks, and I get a bill in the mail for the visit. $394 - $15 co-pay because "self-pay" was primary........ Thanks for confirming that my insurance was listed primary! Called the number on the bill to rectify that. Women states, "no insurance on records". So all the time I spent waiting after I sent you my insurance information for you to mark me self-pay anyway. That's amazing. While on hold with billing, I noticed the their hold message state their services were "Based on communication, trust and understanding." What a joke. You have zero of my trust to be able to do your job in providing adequate healthcare or being able to even run an office. Unless you prefer to scam patients out of money because they don't realize you never billed their insurance. You clearly weren't able to communicate that you had no idea what was wrong because you didn't know what you were doing. A simple look at my back under my shirt would have shown you the issue."
"I get seen fairly quickly. Only a 10 minute wait and the first nurse was very friendly. I tell her I have lower back pain which has been an issue for years since I had my son. I can’t even stand up straight and walking hurts. I have not had health insurance from right after my son was born up until a month ago. This is my first flare up in a month so I figured now would be the best time to finally get some help. The nurse writes down all my information and then goes out to the hall to speak with the practitioner who is coming to see me. She reads off everything I told her and he responds very audibly “Oh give me a break”. Can you imagine how uncomfortable I felt once he walked into the room?"
"my great grand daughter(20 months old) was brought to this facility with a very high temperature. upon entering they asked for her insurance(no problem). When they found out that it was a state plan(blue cross) they told them that they could not see her as they don't take that insurance. They were sent to another urgent care at that time. They clearly didn't care about my great grand daughter but only the money or how they will get paid. This is very unprofessional on there part. When someone is sick they should help the patient and not worry about the money. Stay away if you don't have the proper insurance...."
"Just another cattle shute that is ONLY in business for money. Gone are the days of actual care and appointments being seen at your actual appointment time. The worse problem is they no NOTHING about covid here. Nurse insisted I change my medical mask for their medical mask. All the while touching it with her fingers. Doctor didn't do anything more than I can do myself through youtube videos. They refused to see someone next to me who tested negative for covid and was trying to get to the bottom of his symptoms. Amazing these places still exist. Read the reviews for the urgent care. Borderline criminal care there. Embarrassing Inspira has its name on this."
