"It feels sort of weird, to leave a review for a Funeral Home, but I felt it was important to share how amazing the Branchburg Funeral Home has been to my family and me. From the moment we first called them, they treated us like family. They waited late for us on a Friday night to come in and introduce ourselves and let them know of our father‘s passing. Every step of the way was met with compassion, heart, and kindness. They helped us feel relaxed, never rushed us in any step and were very supportive as we worked through a very difficult time in our lives. It’s so important to find real people with compassionate hearts when dealing with such tragedy. My family and I are truly grateful for the Branchburg Funeral Home and although we don’t “look forward” to using their services, we are certainly grateful for them and would highly recommend them to anyone. "My husband passed away early on a Saturday morning at a local hospital. With the guidance of the RN at the hospital, I called the Branchburg Funeral Home and got directed to representative/answering service who took basic information. She told me that I would receive a phone call from the funeral home soon; within five minutes I received a call from Jason. From the very beginning of this phone call, Jason was compassionate and kind. He told me what would be happening over the next few days, made an appointment for me to meet with Anthony, and outlined what I needed to bring to the funeral home. Jason’s phone call set the tone for my family’s experience with Branchburg Funeral Home. On Monday, I met with Anthony. During this initial meeting, he guided me through a process that created the visitation service, mass, and time at the cemetery, including military honors, that was a true tribute to the tremendous life that my husband lived. Whenever I had a question, concern or problem with anything during to these emotionally-charged days, the staff was there for me. One of the staff, Brittany, Wayne, Jason, Mike or Anthony, took care of anything and everything immediately. They respected and valued my husband’s life, as a husband, father, and grandpa/granddad, a decorated and distinguished military officer, and his Celtic heritage. They tended to every detail. I could not have been more pleased or gratified with everything that the funeral home did for John and our family. As I said, “they were there for me”. I felt like I was always being taken care of with warmth, kindness, caring, compassion, and understanding. I was treated like a family member, not a customer.
