"Many of my family members and friends are buried here. The grounds are kept very clean and beautiful year round. The staff here are so friendly and supportive. The headstones are well maintained. The office closes a particular time but the gates remain open until later time. So, you won’t have help finding the grave site after office hours. Your best option would be to take place of the location and surroundings areas once you have located the graves of your loved ones. Take pictures of the street signs within the cemetery. So you won’t have a problem finding your loved ones during your next visit. There are hotels and car dealership located near this cemetery. As well as restaurants. You’re about a half hour away the mall in Newark, Delaware and Delaware Park Casino and racetrack, and Delaware State College."
"I had the pleasure of working with Pamela Wood at Gracelawn Memorial Park for the burial of my mother. Pamela was very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything clearly and was genuinely helpful pertaining to my questions, concerns and needs. Pamela was courteous, kind and compassionate upon first meeting with me, during our burial and my follow up appointment. I am truly looking forward with working with Pamela in the very near future to help me with my siblings that preceded in death of our mothers passing."
