"The sisters prayed for my friend."
"I’m not religious, and so I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived for a Mass for Artists. The Catholic service was a bit traditional for me, however what really appealed to my spiritual nature was the nuns and their role here. After Mass the nuns were available to visit with and all of them had the grandest smiles and kindness in their words as one might expect from a nun, but they were also funny, playful, warm, interested, and great conversationalists. My friend and I talked with them for about an hour on all sorts of subjects. It was wonderful. Later I learned of and saw The Turn where visitors can meet and talk with a nun, and that the chapel is open for prayer and sitting with God even when there is no service being performed. For a newbie like myself this is an ideal worship experience, with no pressure and all the warmth."
"A haven of Peace and Tranquility. The nuns are always there for comfort and prayers. The Monastery is a hidden gem. I go there to chat with the Nuns at the Turn, buy handcrafted scarves in their tiny shop, and drink in the silence of the Monastery and lovely grounds."
"A friend of mine told me about it, I went this past Good Friday as my first time and loved that place, very tranquil, serene and peaceful. People are also nice and friendly. Will be going on Sundays mass. Peace in Christ!"
