"One of the two "Pretty Sisters" built by a certain John W. Scott of Flemington, NJ, circa 1900. Also known as "Peck's Ferry Bridge," this lovely little "modified" Warren truss is notable, as is her sister on Stone Signpost Road, for her extensive ornamentation. Three cast finials, one central and two post, are uncommon for any bridge, let alone such a short span. And add to this beautiful lattice guards complete with rosettes. Gorgeous little girl. One of my faves for sure. And her "Pretty Sister." Well done, Mr. Scott, well done."
