"The staff is professional and courteous. I would give them, especially one particular. I wish I could recall her name, because she was exceptional. The Inn itself was terrible. We stayed a month, and it took that long to clean filth from previous guests. There are multiple infestations: roaches, spiders that jump, beetles, flies, and two more insects that I do not know what they are. I had to clean everything every day because of the filth and because of the bugs. I spoke with housekeeping (which they refer to as maintenance) constantly about the bug problem. My daughter and I had to sleep in shifts to make sure bugs didn't crawl us. I had to ask to have our room added to the cleaning list. And, cleaning only included making the bed and sweeping the floor. I asked for them to change the bed linens and clean the bathroom. The man used the same towel to clean everything. To answer your question, yes. I did watch. I purchased more cleaning supplies and continued cleaning the room and bathroom myself. Also, the place reeks of cigarette smoke, weed, and something else which was unidentifiable. And, people leave their trash in a space right near the stairs, and many did not tie it. Staff told me it's the guests. I and another guest were talking and she felt it's the responsibility of management. Ultimately, she's right. The issues may have begun from guests, but management must maintain a healthy and clean environment. Many families come and go, but live there long-term, because they've been displaced, either from COVID-19 or something else. Management needs to fumigate the entire building, not floor to floor, as they've been doing. Then they need to replace furniture, and clean each room. They need to continue to ACTUALLY clean each room, and change linens. Next they need to teach their house cleaning about separation of clean and dirty linens."
