Welcome to Avis Car Rental in Princeton, New Jersey! Conveniently located at 14 Lower Harrison Street, our branch offers a wide range of vehicles to meet your travel needs. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or need a reliable car for business, we have the perfect vehicle for you.
Special Offer: Enjoy one day free of daily time and mileage charges on an intermediate (Group C) through a full-size four-door (Group E) car rental. Please note that taxes, concession recovery fees, customer facility charges, and fuel charges are additional. Optional items such as LDW and other surcharges may apply. This offer is valid for a minimum three-day rental, and the free day will be applied at the time of rental for reservations made on Avis.com. Please ensure you meet all Avis age, driver, and credit requirements. The offer is subject to vehicle availability and must be used by 12/31/24.

For added convenience, we offer a complimentary pick-up service. Please call us at least 24 hours in advance to arrange your pick-up. Note that off-airport locations cannot pick you up at an airport with an Avis location.

"The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I've rented vehicles multiple times and always had a positive experience. On one occasion, when the reserved vehicle wasn't available, I received an alternative vehicle and fuel credits as compensation."
"The car was dirty and obviously never washed when we picked up the car and when we asked for a clean car, we were told they were all uncleaned. Worse, when we returned the car, the agent charged an extra hr when we returned timely and the agent never told us we were late. Fortunately, we called an Uber which has time stamp showing when we were picked up. Further, the way the agent dealt with us made me felt suspicious so I took a photo of the returned car which photo also has the time stamp. With the double evidence, we were able to show we were not late, but we have to jump through hoops to prove our case to get the refund!!! Renter beware!"
"The team at Avis took a stressful situation and turned it around. Very friendly staff that treats customers with patience and empathy. They’ll make it effortless to get you into a nice car - and the cars themselves are tidy and modern. Highly recommend Avis for your next rental. Kevin is the man - goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I didn’t get the name of the woman at the counter, but you can tell she cares about her customers and makes an effort to remember who they are and gives a personal touch to the rental experience."
"Had a GREAT experience here! Both employees, one for pick up and the other for drop off were really friendly which I really appreciated. The type of car I rented was unavailable and he had to upgrade me. He gave me my choice of vehicle being more concerned with me getting a car than the bottom line which I've never experienced without getting an attitude. There are many car rental places nearer to my home but I will return here due to the professionalism and outstanding customer service I received. Many thanks to Dylan and Michael!!"
"I have touched base here a few times about getting a rental and they have always been very professional, courteous, interested in my business. The rental process was really easy, I just went online over the weekend, reserved my rental and arrived Monday morning. Once there. I explained my needs and they matched me with the perfect SUV. I had my bicycle (I rode it over) so I needed something to fit that. I had to change my rental return location and that was really easy. Very fast, efficient process. Clean, comfortable late model cars. I am AVIS for life now. Thanks!"
