"Where do I begin? How do you have two visitations at the same time but not offer a discount? The only thing separating the the two events was a curtain. Also, no one was in the lobby to direct people to the correct viewing. There were people distraught and embarrassed over the fact they went to the wrong viewing. The funeral was supposed to start at 10:00 in Dothan, but the procession left Abbeville at 10:00 even though there were directives in place to ensure the funeral started on time. Although there was a police escort, the body made it to the funeral before the procession. Because of this, the pallbearers were not present to escort the body where it was supposed to be. There was a lot of undue stress placed on the family. The family was responsible for putting together the obituary and I don’t mean just writing it. The family not only had to create it, but they also had to print and distribute these to guests as the funeral was starting. I believe this business needs to update their services to align with the times."
