"Big fan of this place! It’s taken us forever to finally find a pizza place in the area that we truly love. Great crispy crust, super delicious red sauce! The pizza, cheesesteaks, and pork sandwiches are all phenomenal (we’ve ordered many varieties of each). We were pleasantly surprised how incredibly delicious the tomato pie is too! So far the only item we didn’t love were the jalapeño poppers - the flavor of the cheese just wasn’t great. We’ll continue tasting our way through the menu!"

"Great place to grab a cheese steak, pizza, or sandwich. I had a really fresh turkey BLT hoagie. It was packed with fresh turkey lunchmeat, crispy bacon and American cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. My husband had a large cheese steak called a pickleback. It had fried pickles on it, and he got the petal sauce on the side. It was stuffed with meat and melty cheese, and the pickles were crispy and tasty. He was full after eating that large sandwich when he's usually not at other sandwich shops. I like how they offer free hot peppers and pickles and the condiments counter. The decor is focused on Philly landmarks and popular celebrities from the area. The staff was helpful and attentive. We will definitely return to try more items off the menu."

"Tried a Cajun cheese steak, excellent, will be back to sample some more sandwiches. Johnny longhot steak is awesome, Yo Philly roast pork is incredible, but shouldn't take 30 minutes to make when no one in store."

"Tried Johnny’s on a whim. Just in the area over night was hungry for a cheesesteak and these folks did not disappoint. The staff was so friendly. They gave us an over view of their menu and was so patient while we decided on what exactly we wanted to get. I had the Teriyaki Cheesesteak, my husband had the Fat Johnny and my son had a small pizza. My Teriyaki Cheesesteak was HUGE and so delicious! My son who’s the pickiest eater ever declared this was the best pizza EVER. My husband said his was huge, filling and great. Also before leaving we grabbed a cannoli and banana pudding. If we are back in the area again we’ll definitely be back!"

"This was my first experience at Johnny Longhots and unfortunately my experience wasn’t the best. I will preface this review to say, the restaurant was clean, plenty of seating/parking and the staff were courteous and polite. Unfortunately, it was the cheesesteak that was a disappointment. :( It was a long day at work, I didn’t eat anything all day and was craving a cheesesteak. I decided to give Johnny Longhots a try and ordered the “Johnny Longhot” Cheesesteak to go and got an order of fries (Tuesday Special = Free order of fries with any cheesesteak - which was a great value that I appreciated). Have to admit, when I got home and pulled out the cheesesteak from the box, it looked really good, but unfortunately, the taste didnt live up to the visuals and ultimately why I am writing this review. Something was off - The Steak was pretty chewy and bland. Imagine my disappointment :( This restaurant has pretty decent reviews which is why I decided to give it a try. I recognize sometimes mistakes are made but for a first experience - it wasn’t what I expected. Unfortunately, with a 20 min drive from my home, I’m not sure I will be back."
