"Food was horrible! False advertisement on social media! I order shrimp and grits and they gave me fried shrimps with all this orange sauce and spinach and bacon in it doing anything the menu never stated all that will be inside also that’s not what they post on social media I also order waffle and chicken , chicken had a bunch of feathers on the chicken so that leaves me to believe y’all don’t pluck or clean yall food! They ran out of ice gave my husband hot lemonade they ran out of orange juice and fruit the bathroom was out of service , none of the cooks or waiters had head covering on! It was a horrible nasty experience"
"Went in for a bday brunch! The parking lot was full to capacity, but shared with other businesses. The restaurant was packed! Seemed like every seat was taken. The greeting wasn't the best, but we were seated after about 2 minutes, in the bar area. Or waitress seemed new, but really sweet. The food took a bit long to come out, but it was delicious! Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. They had the little robots rolling around serving people their plates! The place was really nice, and nothing was overpriced. Sitting at the bar we could see in the kitchen and everything looked so appealing I wanted to try everything! My only complaints would be the greeting and the time from ordering to eating. All of the waiters and waitresses were really nice."
"Today was my first time trying this place for Mother’s Day everything was so good. The food was so delicious. The only thing the turkey sausages were a little salty, but we swapped them out for beef bacon, and everything was so delicious. I can’t wait to go back. Our waiter she was a young lady. She was so polite and nice."
"Underwhelming. First the hostess told us there was no way to be seated . There were full reservation and a family waiting. Then turned us away. I went outside and made reservations for 20 minutes later. This same hostess was walking around with a mouth full of food every time she came back from the kitchen. Then one of the bathrooms didn't have any paper towels and the other bathroom didn't have any toilet paper. We waited 40 minutes for the food ,The food was ultimately good though. It's just with the service the bathroom the wait time it was just too much. I will not return here and neither will I recommend. I Love to support black businesses but the service that I always receive isn't worth it when I'm paying my money. Big shout out to our WAITER jay he was nice and made our experience better. Oh I would also like to add how inconsistent their food is. My bf got the seafood grits and I got the chicken and waffles and for some reason they gave me the sweet potato waffles with my order instead of the regular ones. And my bf plate was missing the crab lump meat. Never again lmao. I’ll stick with Turning Point."
"A must try: Pros: Very Friendly! Our first time. Not disappointed. Not sure why reservations matter but ok. It’s a small space do I guess that’s why you might wanna reserve a table. We had fish and grits and chicken and waffles, cranberry juice and water. The food was amazing, not overly seasoned. The wings were a perfect blend with the waffles. The grits are to die for ( not sweet). The waffles was light and that apple butter… yummy. The fish is catfish ( not my style) but for those of you who do… that hot sauce was very tasty too. Cons: The seating is a bit weird; they need a stand to say; “wait here” because you aren’t allowed to seat yourself. The staff is sweet. Loved Rose. There’s a bit of a delay with water getting to your table and if busy someone taking your order. If you sit by the window in the winter it’s a bit chilly."
