Big Swerve's BBQ

"Went to check this place out with my Uncle and we both were thoroughly impressed. Staff were extremely nice and informative. The dining area almost reminds me of a banquet hall; super classy plus they also have a stage for live music. Food was great and seasoned perfectly. I had the jerk sliders, potato salad, and baked mac. I definitely recommend and will be going here again very soon."

"Wow, what a find. Was traveling down from NY to MD. Needed a lunch break, found Swerve’s on Google Maps, glad I did. This is the real deal bbq, great outdoor setup. Located right next to a Brewery. Had the brisket, excellent. Get the baked beans, probably the best I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to get the corn bread. A must stop. Looking forward to my return."

"We got a sampler to enjoy at the brewery nearby. The 3 of us agree that this was some of the best BBQ we’ve had in a long time. The brisket was amazing; tons of flavor! The ribs were fall off the bone with a great sauce. The jerk chicken is fantastic - spicy but tender. Nice sized portions - we have enough leftover for a snack-sized meal later :) The string beans have great flavor and the mean beans were a nice surprise of sweet and hearty. Highly recommend! Absolutely fantastic BBQ!"

"The atmosphere was Poppin'!! They had a DJ outside, a Cigar Bar, tents and tables set up. It was not a long line, but people were ordering and waiting. We ordered the Brisket sliders w Mac n Cheese, and the Brisket Burger w sides of Mac n Cheese, and Mean Beans. After ordering, we sat in the truck to wait. After a few minutes, one of the ladies brought the food out to us, invited us to sit and enjoy the music, have a cigar. Unfortunately, we were not able to do that, so we brought the food home. Two things: 1st was No utensils to eat, if we had stayed. 2nd was there was barely any sauce on anything. The food was cooked to perfection, but the lack of sauce made it dry. I asked for spicy sauce on my Brisket burger, but I didn't taste any. I was honestly about to put some ketchup on it... The Mac n Cheese could have used little seasoning, but it was still hittin'! The Mean Beans were the best part of the meal for me! We did eat everything, despite the lack of sauce. We'd definitely give them another try!"

"I liked Big Swerve's BBQ. I thought that it had a pretty good amount of smoke on it. Like, as you're taking a bits, you're experiencing the essence. I think the sauce was pretty mandatory. Like, without it, I am not certain it holds up as well. I think for the price, they could be more generous with the macaroni and cheese, maybe give you a piece of corn bread. I get it, the proteins cost the most. But like, pasta?? I think overall, it was good. I'd go back if I was in the area."
