Parsons Mountain OHV Trail

"This place is a Diamond in the rough! For $5 a day you can not beat the amount of fun that can be had at Parson's Mountain OHV. The trails are beginner to intermediate with some mud depending on weather but there are usually spots to go around if desired. My family and I will be visiting frequently in the future. Plan ahead for bathroom accommodations as the the ones on location did not seem to be maintained, totally understandable with how remote the location is. I would recommend this area to anyone interested in a nice day of riding. Remember to call the hotline before you haul and follow all posted rules and guidelines so we can keep it open for many years to come!"

"Amazing place to ride but there are quite a few trees down on the trail. Good thing riders made new trails. However that's on us riders to report those issues as well."

"Absolutely love this place. The trails are really good. Some faster pace stuff and some more tight and technical stuff. A few elevation changes, and a few types of terrain. For $5, you cannot beat this place."

"Great trail especially for beginners. Has a few switch backs, multiple humps to go over and a few pretty steep hills to go up and down. Does provide a little challenge at times. They do have several pretty bad ruts. We did speak to a park ranger today and they stated that they just got awarded a big grant to come in and redo the trail. He stated that it should start in next couple months. We will definitely be going back very soon. A little over 11 miles long and took us about an hour and half to do it. The trail is one way which is nice so you don’t have to worry about on coming ATV’s. I drive a very wide 4 wheeler and my husband rides a dirt bike. Trail is great for both types. Where there are ruts there is alway another way around them if you don’t want to drive through them."
