"Everything is not always as it seems, there are some evil people in this world, I was a victim of the Blount youth homes scam and was held there against my will and starved and beaten and tortured physically and mentally for about 12 months. I was told I could not use the bathroom and when I was allowed usually once per day I was timed for two minutes and then forced to be done whether I actually was or not, I was timed to take a shower and was not allowed enough time to bathe myself properly, I have had the owner Clint Blount a 70 yr old man along with a gang of other bigger kids trample me to a seizure just about they picked me up 8 ft in the air then dropped me down on my back as hard as they could and then continued to punch and stomp me while I was suffering on the ground. I have seen multiple other kids get beat bad and hurt as well, including some kid get grabbed and pushed up against a window so hard it shattered all the way through. There was this kid named brandon who got a sick kick out of really hurting people and the owners loved to let him, I watched him take someone’s head on concrete and kept smashing his head on the ground and as the kid was screaming out in agony Brandon was laughing and getting pleasure out of hurting him like that. And one of the owners watched this as well sometimes got the kids to fight each other. Theese people are really really sick and what they do to kids in that place is not humane parents if you actually love your kids and want them to get better please do not send them here you will be putting them in danger and wasting your hard earned money. These people should all be in prison for what they do and what they do to young children physically and mentally tormenting them leaving a permanent scar for the rest of their lives no matter how much time has passed. They have had allegations like this presented multiple times that have all been so very true and they are always dismissed because theese sick evil corrupt people know how to finesse the system and you. They had all the kids put on a special “act when outsiders came on campus and we were threatened with being stuck outside for a long time and beatings and being starved if we did not act a certin way. I am going to fight to make people aware of what really goes on here and if I can at least get one parent to not drop thier kid off to this concentration camp that will be good. Although this place should be shut down and all staff involved should be convicted for thier crimes."

"I was in this hell hole for three plus years against my will, if you love your child there are other avenues to get them help instead of placing them with people who will physically and mentally abuse them in order to make it appear that a change has taken place. If you still are considering do a simple Google search on the facility and abuse that has taken place, they were in fact shut down for a period of time by children services while government funded and opened up again as a private facility. My parents apologize to me often for placing me in this what I would refer to as a back woods boot camp which no child should ever be exposed to. Also this is my second review as the first was removed and many others have been as well. To put it simply it was the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to me, I still have nightmares about my years in this place."

"Our son stayed 6 mo; no money in the world can undue the trauma he experienced there. Abuse, intimidation, and shaming are their tactics. The program absolutely leads you to believe it’s about bringing these kids back to a good life. They have to use the bathroom outside, aren’t allowed to talk, only church all day on Sunday’s despite your religion. Not to mention they have a terrible reputation in the town as abusers. He makes them run everywhere they go, and has them work on his home located outside the gates of the facility!! Criminal. He allows them to fight each other, puts them in diapers… Absolutely zero counseling. They claimed they had counseling and dr’s-which they did not and they changed my kid’s meds, even though it was written that it was NOT supposed to happen. Wouldn’t let him or us talk to each other, or visit. Went through our mail and my child’s. They want your $$$. They claim to teach them a trade but they only have them do manual labor on his farm. They created no goals to work on, had no notes of the day?? Not like any residential I ever worked in.. What I can say is it is immaculate and his daughters who come to help are priceless in a good way."

"I cannot ever express enough appreciation for what this place has done for us. My son, Jeffrey was kicked out of nearly every school he had ever attended(at least 5 -6 different schools) by the age of 10. He was angry, disrespectful, and I had run out of options after his Dad wasn't able to deal with him either. After being in a really bad boarding school myself, from the ages of 15-17, I was paranoid to send him anywhere and risk doing more damage. Having the experience I had as a teen, I knew the red flags to look for. I visited this school on multiple occasions, was able to walk freely around the facility, and took my son off campus so that we could speak one-on-one. He didn't love being there which is obviously expected, BUT he said he was always treated well by Mr. Blount and the other staff. He spent 7 months there and is back home with me. Things have been better than they ever have! I still make him say yes mam/sir, he has similar chores as he did there, and he is doing so well with online school. He's even taking a computer programming class! Everyone that has seen him over the past few months that he's been home has said he's like a different kid. So much happier. I honestly never thought I would see this day. We are not out of the woods yet because he's only 11, but I believe we are headed in a good direction. Thank you all so much! I hope we can come back to visit soon:)"
