"I’ve been doing weight training for at least twenty years consistently. However, there comes a time when you get complacent. Thank goodness I found about Pilates. I had always known some People that strictly did it and were in fantastic shape but was always too scared. In any event, I have now added it to my weight routine and I think I’ve seen some abs! It moves your body in ways you wouldn’t do on your own! If you are guy, don’t be scared. The teachers are super helpful and knowledgeable. Big shout to Mackenzie who got me involved. "Cannot say enough good things about Southern Soul! A beautiful facility, knowledgeable and kind staff and overall just great vibe. Their reform45 and mat classes are by far the best/most challenging work outs I have ever done and totally transformed my body in 6 months. They also make you feel so welcomed and comfortable when starting out and are so helpful if you are new to Pilates and/or yoga. I always leave their feeling strong, refreshed and confident. Do your mind and body a favor and go!"
"I started doing Pilates when I had severe IT band pain preventing me from doing other forms of exercise. I had been in PT for almost 8 months that was making little progress with my pain. After 4 Pilates classes, I was pain free! The classes helps strengthen stabilizer muscles I didn’t even know were weak!!!!"
