"I am so DISAPPOINTED with Chester Public Library. My sister Andi, special needs, has enjoyed movie nights & crafts at the library for about 2 yrs now, sometimes being the only one to attend events. They used to treat her like gold, and she enjoyed taking the ladies small treats or handmade cards from time to time. If you know Andi she is an absolute sweetheart. She's 30yrs old with cognitive apraxia, which means she has the heart, mind and independence of about a 12yr old. Well Andi tried to give the new lady a hug and she cringed and pulled away.. I get it some people don't like that, but then the next time Andi tried to register for a craft, this lady made a big fuss about how someone had to come in and sit with Andi and how she intimidates the other kids, what!? She agreed that maybe Andi didn't need to come back and hung up. Damn, way to crush a girls heart. I guess some people don't understand or maybe I'm wrong but feelings are hurt and I can't stand to see Andi treated as less than.."

"Comfortable and safe place to enjoy reading. Has some outlets for young children just now learning that reading can be an adventure. Appreciate that the library budgets to provide quality services. Enjoyed seeing the brick book drop made by master mason Troy Wilson."
