Our park also features baseball and softball diamonds, tennis courts, and a well-maintained football field for your athletic pursuits. For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, our picnic shelters and tables offer the perfect spot for a family outing or a quiet afternoon in nature.

Worthen Park is also home to Granite City's 18-hole public golf course, designed by renowned golfer Hale Irwin. Golfers of all skill levels can enjoy a round on this beautifully designed course, with the Granite City Park District continuing to invest in its facilities since taking ownership in 2009.

During the colder months, the Granite City Ice Rink becomes a hub of winter activity. Offering public ice skating sessions, figure skating, and ice hockey, it's a fantastic place for the community to come together. Public sessions are available on weekends, with special rates for children, seniors, and those with a park ID.

The Wilson Park Pool is a summertime favorite, providing a refreshing escape from the Midwest heat. Traditionally open from Memorial Day weekend until the start of the school year, it's a beloved community resource.
