Dr. Sam Page has been a transformative leader, steering St. Louis County through challenges with a commitment to honesty and ethical governance. Under his leadership, the county has overcome past scandals, restored trust, and prioritized the welfare of its residents. During the global COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Page used science-based strategies to safeguard our community and responsibly allocated federal funds to provide emergency rental assistance and humanitarian relief.
Dr. Page’s administration has prudently managed federal tax dollars, directing them towards essential community services such as nursing homes, technology enhancements, and domestic violence programs. Unlike previous administrations, he ensures that funds benefit the community rather than political donors.
Supporting our first responders is a top priority for Dr. Page, demonstrated by a $47 million investment in our police and fire departments. He recognizes their crucial role in maintaining the safety and well-being of St. Louis County.
As an advocate for women's reproductive freedom, Dr. Page fights for healthcare access and the right to reproductive services for all individuals, regardless of income, race, gender, or sexual orientation. He is also a staunch supporter of workers’ rights, having played a pivotal role in defeating anti-union legislation and implementing reforms to support a skilled local workforce.
