"Well, parking is always a rough thing. Make sure you bring plenty of coins to pay parking. Meters don't last very long. I am surprised that St Louis County hasn't built a better parking system here. It's been bad for many years. A garage or something would make life easier for all. I called ahead, which made the process quicker and much easier for records. I recommend that. I can't stand very long. So it made it easier."

"Setup an virtual meeting weeks ago for our Marriage License Application. Had an Appointment at 10am, was told we would receive an email with a link for the virtual meeting. Not only did they never send the email with the link from their Spaces software. After sitting on hold for over an hour and watching our appointment time pass by well over an hour. We gave up and went to Down Town STL Recorder of Deeds. The entire process there took less than 10 minutes to apply and receive our marriage license and they even have people to answer the phone, crazy. We sent an email to the office and received no response and still no one has reached out to us regarding the appointment that they missed 5+ hours ago."

"I interact with the fine folks at the St. Louis County Recorder of Deeds often. They cannot help the rules and processes they must follow but they are kind people who want to help, and have to put up with abuse from the public every day. I think that they do the best they can and deserve a lot more grace than the general public is willing to give them. It isn't fair to be cruel to them just because you are frustrated with government in general, or did not have the information you needed so that they could assist you. Thank you, Recorder of Deeds Staff, for your hard work and service!"

"I had to record a deed. When you enter there is a single line at window 1 where they ask you your purpose for being there, then direct you to the proper window to handle your issue. There were 5 people in line ahead of me, but the line moved quickly. When I got to the proper window there were chairs to sit in to wait your turn. There was one man ahead of me. The clerk was courteous, kind and efficient. I was in and out of the building in 20 minutes."
