"1. Young, polite, and helpful front-counter staff. 2. Dr. Mathenia sets a standard all optometrists should strive for. He is friendly, fun to talk to, and does his job very well. 3. Great selection of frames in both style and color. 4. The transition lenses that I received are different than from what I'm used to getting from Lens Crafters and Warby Parker. My transition lenses become true sunglasses in direct sunlight. My old frames (from last year) tinted mildly and did not provide anywhere near the UV protection that I'm getting from the lenses Clarkson Eyecare made for me. I don't know if Clarkson is using a proprietary film, or lens, or what, but I love my new eyeglasses!"
"I was on a weekend trip down to the lake and was already 45 minutes into my trip when I realized that I forgot my daily contacts at home. Stopped by this clarkson location, and they saved me from a turning back around. Huge help! They are wonderful."
"The service was great but no one discussed pricing with me and when I got to the check out it was almost $300 and they don't offer billing, just a payment plan that needs your debit card! For contacts and the exam, so yeah, I'll be shopping around before I go back."
"Doctor was friendly, service was good. However, whenever I asked the lady behind the desk to bill VSP instead of my BCBS since VSP covers diabetic retinal screening. I received a bill from Clarkson stating that BCBS didn't cover the whole thing. I've spoken to a couple of people since and this issue isn't taken care of. It may only be $69 but I'd rather put a $5000 retainer down for a lawyer and take you guys to court instead of paying that due to your incompetence. This should have NEVER gotten to this point, I should not have to deal with any of this. I've left multiple voicemails to your billing department. If you guys want to resolve this, it's pretty easy. You have my name and my phone number, I went there Jan 5th 24."
"Great service and experience at the Warrenton, MO Clarkson Eyecare location. Front end assistance was great. Experience with the eye doctor was great, answered all my questions and l left having a great experience. I had a budget and they helped stay within my limit for new glasses. I’ll be back!"
