"The first appointment I had I overheard Dr Shay loudly speaking to his nurse negatively about another patient. I ended up tearing or rupturing my plantar fascia. I scheduled an appointment with the front desk. Dr. Shay had at least 3 openings that day. I took a half day off work and was almost to ORA when I received a call saying he was refusing to see me because he does t take same day appointments. I was in severe pain and couldn’t walk and he had 3 openings! He wouldn’t see me until about a week later. When I asked what I should be doing for pain or in the meantime I was given no instruction from him or the nurse. I told them I would google what I should be doing and find a different surgeon! I seriously could NOT believe this!!!!"
