Walmart Pharmacy 1308 South Harris Street, Sandersville, GA 31082

"I switched to this Walmart in 2021 for my prescriptions instead of CVS because Walmart had nicer staff, were always friendly and courteous, and they were fast. I just recently had surgery, and I needed a pain medication filled that my doctor called in yesterday. The extremely rude technician checking patients out claimed they did not have the prescription. No big deal. I went home and called my doctor this morning. They had a confirmation number proving they sent it in and that Walmart received it, but they sent it in again just to be on the safe side. So, I called Walmart at 12:30 today, asking if they received my medication, and when they said yes, I asked if they could fill it. They said yes. I then asked if they could have it ready in an hour. Again, they said yes and warned me about them closing from 1:30-2:30 for lunch. Okay, no big deal. I went up there at 2:45 and asked to pick up my prescription. It wasn't ready. They said to give them ten minutes. I gave them fifteen minutes and went back to the counter. They said it still wasn't ready and to give them another five minutes. I said, "I don't understand. I called at 12:30, and I was told my medication would be filled." The extremely rude technician rolled her eyes and repeated what I said to her pharmacist and then proceeded to blatantly ignore me when she said to the gentleman behind me, "Sir, how can I help you?" I do not understand how you have two pharmacists on the clock and four technicians and cannot get a patient's medication filled in 2 1/2 hours. This is the SORRIEST pharmacy I've ever been to. And from someone who worked as a pharmacy technician with CVS in a core store, I KNOW a medication can get filled in less than ten minutes. I will NEVER be filling a medication here again. And honestly, the entire staff needs to be retrained on customer service."
